Craig Robinson Has Me Thinking it’s Time to Vote Democrat

I’m told my grandfather was a conservative Democrat. I don’t know what that means exactly but if Craig Robinson keeps it up I may turn into the most conservative Democrat in the history of blogging.
Robinson already has a verbal commitment for the 2010 class in Tajuan Porter-esque Ahmad Starks. Coach Rob now has Oregon State in the lead for Phoenix-area point guard Jahii Carson for his 2011 class.
Carson, a 5′10″ PG was named Arizona’s Central Region Player of the Year as a sophomore at Phoenix Mountain Pointe High School. He averaged a beautiful 27 ppg, 8 apg, and 6 rpg. And this isn’t just some player putting up good numbers, he is a bonafide stud who has offers from big time programs. Carson has been offered by Arizona (under former coach Russ Pennell), UNLV, Cal, and Oregon but he lists OSU as his favorite.
“Oregon State has offered and has a slight edge at this point due to the new coaching staff and the players on their roster,” said Carson.
Carson has been communicating with incoming four-star shooting guard recruit Roberto Nelson out of Santa Barbara, CA, and he likes what he hears. “We’ve been texting about the program, and I plan to call him this week to talk more about how he feels at this point of his recruitment,” said Carson.
UCLA is also said to be soon to make an offer. Carson is also drawing interest from Georgetown, USC, Georgia Tech, UNC, Washington, and Purdue.
Carson is planning on visiting OSU this August following June visits to USC and UCLA.
And I swoon.
